They strike at the very foundation of Islam on which it has been firmly based for the last fourteen centuries. This sect has gone further by innovating ideas even stranger to Islam to the extent that they seek to reinterpret even basic worship like prayer and fasting. These innovations pave a way where well established Islamic beliefs and acts of worship were questioned and argued about, then distorted or abandoned. Since early Islamic History, there has been groups that have objected the authenticity of Hadith. H refuted them and they stopped their arguments. H responded to them and they stopped. These were the extreme Rawafid. One cannot accept only one method of revelation and reject the other. They say that the hadith were written in the 3rd century.
Then, someone from the 3rd century decided to start writing Hadith. This is completely incorrect, because since the prophet said all the hadith, people have been memorizing the hadith, and it was passed down through the generation by memory, which was the strongest method of that time. There were also 49 scholars from the first century, 87 from the last first century, and from the second century, all who recorded Hadith. Obstacles Faced by the Rejectors of Hadith 1. They have so much differences amongst them that they have so many different ways of praying.
Some stand with their imam, which stands amongst the people, not in front of them. And they end the prayer without any salaam. The same goes for zakah. Another issue they face is regarding zakah. These are two examples, but there are many more obstacles they face. This is because they know that if hadith is removed, they can live their lives almost exactly like modern western lives. Since they have left hadith, they have separated into so many little groups, and they are extremely confused of how salah, zakah and other rulings should be carried out.

In contrast to Quranists, Sunnis do not believe that the Quran is fully detailed. The most common view being the Quranists who say that Hadith is not mentioned in the Quran as a source of Islamic theology and practice, was not recorded in written form until a century after the death of Muhammad, and contain internal errors and contradictions. The term sunnah appears several times, including in the phrase "sunnat Allah" way of God , but not "sunnat al-nabi" way of the prophet -- the phrase customarily used by proponents of hadith. Therefore, do not distract them with the Hadiths, and thus engage them.
